I’ve always strived to be a holistic lawyer. What makes my job particularly enjoyable is not just seeing the legal aspects of a situation but also the challenge of looking at the whole picture from all angles to consider possible and workable solutions for my clients. Being able to appreciate the practical realities of implementing my advice from a client’s perspective is crucial. Employment issues can be stressful whether you’re a business owner, manager or employee. I aim to make issues as stress-free as possible. My motto is “If it’s important to my client then it’s important to me”.
Gill Wilkinson has been a part of the team at Ware and Kay since 2005.
Gill is an experienced employment lawyer who can be relied upon for clear, sensible and jargon-free advice on employment issues when you need it most.
She regularly advises companies on redundancy procedure, restructuring, TUPE, executive severance packages, employment tribunal claims (including unfair dismissal and discrimination), and employee issues involving disciplinary and grievance matters, sickness absence and negotiating settlement agreements.
Gill is also able to provide advice on employment contracts and staff handbooks to make sure that they comply with changes in employment law.
Her corporate clients include business owners and managers as well as senior executives and employees across Yorkshire and nationally.
